The Creative Behind the Brand
Hey, I’m Jacinta—the designer, photographer and creative heart behind Studio Behana.
I help small business owners craft elevated, intentional brands that feel deeply aligned with who they are and what they do. From the visual identity to the images you share online, I’ll guide you through a creative process that’s strategic, collaborative, and a little bit magical.
But I wasn’t always doing this full-time…
Like a lot of creatives, I started with a passion for design and photography but took a “real job” because, well, that’s what you’re meant to do. It wasn’t until Covid turned things upside down that I decided to fully back myself. I returned to my creative roots, completed my studies in Graphic Design and Photography, and launched Studio Behana with a clear purpose:
To help passionate business owners feel proud of their brand—and show up with confidence.
Why 'Studio Behana'?
I chose the name Studio Behana as a tribute to the Far North Queensland lifestyle I love so much—lush rainforests, coastal calm, and that sense of laid-back beauty that’s so unique to this part of the world.
Behana Gorge, south of Cairns, felt like the perfect namesake. I may not be there every weekend, but the name carries the vibe I wanted my brand to reflect: grounded in nature, elevated in experience, and unmistakably FNQ. It’s a nod to the rainforest-meets-reef energy that inspires so much of what I do—and a gentle reminder that your brand can feel like a breath of fresh, tropical air.
When I'm Not Designing or Shooting...
You'll usually find me:
Wandering the beach collecting seashells (yep, I’ve got quite the collection)
Camping up the coast or exploring the Daintree
Spending time around commercial fishing boats, thanks to my partner who works on a crayfishing boat—I know that world well
Listening to country classics and 60s-80s bangers while working on your brand

I don’t believe in quick fixes or cookie-cutter design. Instead, I get to know your business inside and out, so we can build something that’s truly aligned—with where you’re at and where you’re headed.
I combine years of creative training (hello, dual diplomas in Graphic Design + Photography) with genuine curiosity about your story, your audience, and your goals.
You get one creative expert (me!) who’s with you through every step of the process—from brand strategy to design, photography and even social content.
