Female First
Brand Photography | Brand Identity Design
Female First is where culture, sport and leadership collide — a brand built to rewrite the rules for women in business and beyond. Rooted in First Nations values and lived experience, it exists to empower women — elite athletes, leaders and entrepreneurs alike — to step into their power, navigate life's transitions and build lasting legacies, founded by Libby Cook-Black.
We developed a full brand identity grounded in that same bold, culturally grounded spirit — a primary logo built around an icon representing community and women gathering, with deeper roots in First Nations symbolism. Hand-illustrated cultural motifs, cowrie and hibiscus details, and a palette drawing on salt water and red dirt with Torres Strait blues bring an athletic elegance to the identity, balancing strength with softness throughout.
Alongside the identity, we delivered brand photography that captured Libby's presence with the same authenticity — imagery built to carry her personal brand across every platform, from her coaching and community work through to her podcast.
"Working with Studio Behana has been such a powerful experience. Branding is a whole language to me, and Jacinta took the time to walk me through not just what looks good, but why it matters. She made a complex process feel grounded, intentional, and empowering," says Libby. The result is a personal brand identity and brand photography package that feels as bold and unapologetic as Female First itself — sport, leadership and First Nations culture, captured in one confident presence.
